Booking Conditions & Terms of Letting

1. Contract
The Contract for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between the Client and Le Cosquer Holidays The Contract shall be governed by UK Law. It will be entered into when the deposit is processed and Le Cosquer Holidays issues the confirmation letter / email. The Contract will be subject to all the following booking conditions.

2. Payment

A deposit of £150 is payable to secure a booking, and there after is held as a security deposit, which is returned to the client approximately one week after the completion of their stay, should there be no damage or breakages.
The full price of the holiday is payable a minimum of 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Should we not receive the balance by the due date then the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled.
For bookings made less than 9 weeks before the commencement of the rental the total rental fee plus security deposit of £150 is payable on booking

3. Cancellation

Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday will result in the loss of the booking and security deposit, and cancellation less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday will result in full payment of the value of the booking less the deposit. We therefore recommend you take out cancellation insurance independently.

4. VAT
No VAT is applicable.

5. Period of Hire
Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified, at 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and terminate at 10 a.m. on the day of departure.

6. Number of Persons in the Property
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number stipulated on our website. Le Cosquer Holidays reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.

7. Complaints
Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property, it must be notified promptly to Le Cosquer Holidays and in the case of a serious problem confirmed in writing.

8. Care of the Property
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning.

9. Breakages, Damage or Loss of Apartment Keys
The Client is legally bound to reimburse Le Cosquer Holidays for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand.

10. Pets
Le Cosquer Holidays do accept pets by prior arrangement.

11. Liability
Le Cosquer Holidays, its employees and agents do not accept third party liability in respect of breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise.

12. Warranties
Le Cosquer Holidays do not warrant and are not responsible for the accuracy of any verbal information given or statements made by any of its servants or agents.

13. Right of Entry
Le Cosquer Holidays shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
14. Children
Guests must accept responsibility for the safety of their children; no child under the age of 11 years may use the swimming pool and the play barn facilities unaccompanied. It is the parents responsibility if they let children over the age of 11 use the pool unsupervised.
